Hello! I am Cannelle, which means cinnamon in French
In June 2022, I obtained my M.A. in Service and Interaction Design from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). I graduated with a B.A. in Interaction Design at the University of the Arts of London (UAL) in 2019.
Before starting my master's, I worked for Sustify, a learning service platform that aims at reducing risks in factories while increasing work efficiency. I was responsible for the development and implementation of their second course called 'Occupational health and hygiene'.
While new technologies have brought many solutions to human needs, they have also created emerging challenges. I am interested in how we, as designers, can make better use of these tools, systems and devices by understanding people's needs as well as being aware of their consequences on our planet Earth.
Regarding my design practice, I am not only interested in how things look but also in how they work. I like to use my creative voice to tackle environmental and social issues.
My double nationality plays a key role in my creative thinking; I grew up in-between French and German cultures and enjoy being exposed to new cultures.
When not sitting at the desk you will find me exploring new places, doing sports, creating new things or cooking.
I am always interested in meeting new people, exchanging experiences and learning from one another. Whether it is to talk about the fundamentals of design thinking, discuss greener solutions, organise creative workshops or arrange collective sports sessions hit me up!
